Westfield Centrepoint Redevelopment Project - Zone 3 - Skygardens

Construction of new underground substation.

 

Works involved;

• Slab ,wall and floor strucutral demolition
• Soft strip out
• Construction - form, reo, pour concrete for new structural slabs, bondek slabs, concrete mezzanine levels
• Potholing investigation works on Market/Castlereagh/Pitt streets
• Excavation

All demolition and new works required to be in compliance with greenstar recycling requirements.Due to works being performed in a functional shopping centre rocksawing and header rock excavation techniques applied.

Work performed with minimal disruption to Shopping Centre and surrounding businesses, which includes control of all pedestrians and traffic movements.
