Rickertte Road Bridge - Ransom (QLD)

This project involved widening and upgrading of RickerrtÕs Road Bridge, a six span concrete bridge over the Tingalpa Creek on a major thoroughfare linking the Bayside suburbs with the City. QMC were a subcontractor for Brisbane City Council and our scope of works including construction of scaffolding to access areas of the bridge which required repairs and strengthening. The works included grout injection into cracks that had developed in the underside of the bridge; drilling core holes, installation of reinforcement and grouting for diaphragm walls; formwork, placement of reinforcement and concreting parapet walls; and installation of electrical conduits and construction of 11kV electrical pits.
