GINSENG - TASMANIA

Project Description: 
QMC Group was contracted to construct a canopy over the top of a proposed Ginseng plantation in Natone, on Tasmania's north / west coast. This 12 week project  was hampered by Tasmania's wet weather and freezing conditions, but with the help of local workers this project was successfully finished on time and on budget.
Works included;

   - Digging then placing approx 1000 poles for shade cloth support.

   - Securing thousands of meters of cable to the poles.

   - Erecting approx 40,000m2 of shade cloth over the Ginseng plantation.

   - Ensuring all cable was secure and shade cloth was in place and undamaged.

QMC Group promotes the employment of local labourers and tradespeople. We also support local businesses with purchases of tools and materials.
