WESTFIELD DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION - BELCONNEN

The works performed at Belconnen Westfield were primarily inside the centre.

There were many void infills constructed.

Works involved; demolition, supply and erection of strucutral steel; form, reo and pour concrete; installation of services and making good building works, including glass handrailing, plasterboard, tiling and painting.

Prior to Christmas QMC demolished the 30 year old Centre Court lift and lift pit inside the spiral staircase and constructed the new glass lift. Works included demolition, supply and erection of structural steel; form, reo and pour concrete; glazing and building works.

Besides all works were performed at night, these projects had very challenging programs and as can be seen in the photos, required immaculate presentation for the normal centre trading each day.
