LIBRARY EXTENSION - TIN CAN BAY


Project Value: $600k

QMC Group constructed an extension to the existing brick library building at Tin Can Bay for Cooloola Shire Council. The works consisted of concrete slab and piles, structural steelwork, colourbond roofing and blockwork and glazing. The new extension is a steel structure with colourbond roofing. A feature of the new extension is the circular full width glazing allowing panoramic views over the surrounding Fraser Coast. The architects for this building were nominated for an Achievement Award.
